Before I settled on "Tales from Yore Truly"...the other titles in contention were: Scorpion, Crab and Talking Bunnies and stop talking to the Bunnies :-)
Hey, this guy reminds me a little bit of David's friend Nestor. If you don't know what Nestor looks like, I'm sure David can show you.
Bill
P.S. I like your poems. I like the line about prayer and cricket. Also, I like the Rainbow poem. It seems to capture a moment of revelation. It seems like the transcendent touched you.
Hey Bill, I can’t believe you spared time to read my amateur endeavors, but thank you for your very kind words. Your observation about the rainbow was on the spot. I think I was doing some mundane task such as cleaning the dishes and thinking about how I hated the thankless task. Then I turned to get something from the counter and saw this beautiful rainbow right on the kitchen floor. It was perfect. And suddenly all my negativity faded and I realized that no matter how ordinary everything seemed, I just had to look around and I would find beauty in my life.

Oh goodness, what storm have I unleashed? Do you guys realize that you're clogging the Blogger servers with your flurry of entries and comments?
Do I sense a trace of resentment David??? ;)
