Easy Cheezy Brussels Sprouts



Step 1 Buy Brussels Sprouts
Step 2 Wash Brussels Sprouts
Step 3 Dont you know patience is a virtue?
Step 4 Chop them in half and put in big bowl
Step 5 Season with salt and pepper
Step 6 Add some olive oil and coat the sprouts
Step 7 Heat pan and place sprouts face down in medium high heat
Step 8 Once they turn brown reduce heat and toss them to cook other sides (5/7 min)
Step 9 When nearly done add shredded cheese and cook till it melts
Step 10 Eat when hot


Brussels sprouts are full of nutrients and contain significant amounts of vitamin C. In fact, gram for gram, Brussels sprouts contain nearly fifty percent more vitamin C than an orange. Just four to six Brussels sprouts contain the adult daily requirement for vitamin C. Like other cruciferous vegetables, Brussels sprouts contain nitrogen compounds called indoles, known for their cancer fighting properties. Brussels sprouts are also a good source of folate, potassium, vitamin K, fibre and beta carotene.
